Stock Island, Florida...the last island before Key West. An enchanting mix of the old and the new. Working waterfronts, with shrimp boats and fishing boats heading out to seek their catch each day...nestled side-by-side with state of the art resort hotels and marinas.

Neighborhoods filled with working class families. Mechanics, boat builders, craftspeople, artists and artisans all ply their trades here.

Its a diverse carribbean island, with 3 languages spoken regularly. It is the most ethnically diverse place in the Florida Keys...and we like it that way. Visitors from all over the world mingle with the locals to create a wonderful environment of creativity.

Before the Cuban embargo, Stock Island was the departure point for the Key West - Havana ferry. Today, excursions to Cuba depart from Stock Island regularly.

There is an endless supply of activities; from diving and snorkeling, to sunset cruises, kayak and paddleboard excursions, jet ski tours, cycling, golf, parasailing, sky diving, art galleries, craft shops and all the historic sites in Key West and beyond just a few minutes away.

Lets not forget the food. There is an incredible selection of food choices for such a small island. Waterfront joints like Hogfish and Hurricane Hole, ethnic delights DeLunas, Chicos Cantina and El Mocho, fantastic artisan Pizza and Italian food at Roostica, new upscale eateries like Matts Stock Island Kitchen & Bar and Yellowfin Grille. There is a growing number of delicious food truck options including TacoGrilla, Hoss & Marys Grub Shack and Yahmans Authentic Jamaican Jerk shack.

Food, ambience, adventure, history, people. Stock Island has it all.
